Hi, I’m Marcy. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Supervisor in Alabama. I hold a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Alabama. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families in in-patient and out-patient settings, including special training in working with youth ages 5 -18.
I have worked with people from all walks of life, experiencing all kinds of troubles, including psychiatric, behavioral, social, and spiritual issues. I am a Christian and am able to incorporate faith with therapy.
Counseling is a space to openly talk to someone with an unbiased “birds-eye” perspective of what you are going through. My approach is to help people find meaning, purpose, and hope in the face of suffering or hardship, as well as equip them with the tools to live a healthy, fulfilled life. My hope for each client is to feel like you have someone you trust to talk to in the midst of crazy life circumstances! If you feel yourself getting stuck, find it hard to make sense of your current situation, and are struggling to feel hope and peace in your life, we can work together to find the healing and hope you’ve been looking for!
