Hi, I’m Leslie. It would be my honor to meet you and come alongside you as you pursue your own journey of healing and growth. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to take the brave step of digging deeper in their understanding of the root causes that impact what they think, feel, and do. My passion is to help my clients live in freedom from past hurt and shame so they can feel equipped to engage in safe, connected, and healthy relationships with themselves and others. As a counselor, my goal is to help you identify and acknowledge the strength and resilience that is already inside of you. I want you to know true healing is possible.
I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri. I am also a certified Christian sex therapist associate with the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. I have my own private practice, Restored Counseling, where I see clients in person and via Telehealth. I have been working with couples and individuals as a counselor for almost a decade. I am also a therapist at Focus on the Family’s Hope Restored marriage intensive program. My specialty areas include: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, first responders, marriage counseling, and sexual issues. I feel honored to come alongside individuals and couples on their journey towards healing in their lives and relationships. God is the Healer, and I am blessed to be used by Him.
In addition to my work as a counselor, my husband, Matt, and I have two teenage boys. We are a law enforcement (LEO) family. As a police wife, I know firsthand the challenges and culture of the first responder lifestyle. When I am not counseling, you will find me baking (I love making sweet treats!), traveling, or spending time with our three fur children.
