Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor | MAC, LPC
I am a Christian, licensed trauma, EMDR therapist and clinical supervisor. I work with women and couples, and I offer both in-person counseling in Phoenix and telehealth counseling throughout the state of Arizona. My career in counseling began early on as a young girl when the kids at school would entrust me with their issues. It was during that early development that I gave my heart to Christ Jesus and surrendered fully to him. Within my own life and journey, I have experienced His great mercy, grace, and healing power.
Being a creative person, I began in the field of interior design, but realized my acumen was not just in the area of design, but people helping skills. It was during that time that I decided to go back to school and change my career path. It would be true to say that I was called into this work and consider it more ministry than ‘work’. God has blessed me in this endeavor and opened many doors once I was willing to go through them. Through the help and dependence upon the Holy Spirit, I am privileged to see many lives healed and transformed. My style of practice is strengths based; I provide a safe and protective environment for people to truly heal. At our practice, we consider ourselves roots based (bottom up) therapists who aim to find the core of the issues rather than focus on the symptoms. Along with being a therapist, I am also a certified brain health coach with Amen clinics. I apply the knowledge of neurophysiology to the treatment of trauma related symptoms.
I am happily married to my husband Clint; we have 2 God daughters, and 2 labrador retrievers who keep our lives very active. I enjoy working out, drawing, studying God’s Word, continually learning, (a book nerd), being with friends, and cooking.
