I have worked in the field of mental health since about 2005, and I have over ten thousand hours working with clients in many settings, including in-home, residential treatment, hospital, agency and tele-health settings.I have both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Maine.
I am trained in a number of modalities, and work with clients with a range of mental and behavioral health concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and addictions. I specialize in family work, and enjoy working with children.
While my education and experience is in mental health, I am currently in seminary on the long road to becoming a chaplain, and hopefully a rabbi. I encourage all clients with a faith background, or an interest in spirituality, to be open and forthcoming about their beliefs in this realm as it can be an incredible source of strength and wisdom when facing difficult challenges
