Janice Titherley

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | MS, LMFT

I hold an MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the States of Idaho (LMFT-7611) and California (LMFT-32486). I have over 30 years of experience in both agency and private practice settings. I have worked with children (including children with severe behavioral difficulties, children with IEPs, those prenatally exposed to drugs and alcohol, those with trauma, and foster and adopted children). I am trained in Nursing Child Assessment Satellite Training (NCAST) Feed and Teach Scales, Love and Logic, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Theraplay.
While my work experience these past 15 years has been primarily working with children/ families, I am now pursuing my passion of working with women; empowering women and providing tools to better manage depression and anxiety.
I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and am currently working toward a certificate in Biblical Counseling.
My husband, Doug, and I have been married for 38 years and have recently retired to Northern Idaho from Southern California. We love traveling in our spare time and working with missionaries/ churches overseas in any capacity we can. My favorite things are cross country skiing through a quiet forest, kayaking along a quiet river/ lake, cooking, watching movies, hanging out with friends over dinner or a good cup of coffee, and playing games/ laughing with my family.
