Licensed Clinical Psychologist | Ph.D
I provide remote services only
Dr. Stebbins is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety and related disorders (e.g., phobias, OCD, social anxiety, panic/agoraphobia, etc.) She is able to see individuals across all PSYPACT states via telehealth (for full list, see https://psypact.org/page/psypactmap). Dr. Stebbins earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and trained in an intensive outpatient program for severe OCD. She received specialized training in mood and anxiety disorders during her postdoctoral fellowship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and completed her predoctoral internship at the VA Ann Arbor/University of Michigan Healthcare System, where she trained in full model Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Dr. Stebbins individualizes treatment to your unique needs. She conducts short-term, integrative cognitive behavioral (CBT) and exposure-based treatment. Treatment with Dr. Stebbins is active and present-focused, and includes regular application of content outside of session for skills practice. Dr. Stebbins finds it exciting to witness clients achieve freedom, and her goal is that you learn the skills to not need to be in therapy anymore. She works with clients to reconnect with their values to lead values-driven (rather than fear-driven) lives. She finds it really meaningful to integrate Christianity into treatment, and seeks to provide quality, evidence-based treatment to Christians.
She is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
