I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). In 2017, I graduated from Liberty University with my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Before coming to Thriveworks Woodstock, I enjoyed my roles as the relational therapist in a private alcohol rehabilitation center in Atlanta, as a therapist for a behavioral health crisis center, and as a literature teacher to teenagers for 12 years.
I have extensive experience working with teens, adults, and couples. I utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Solution Focused Therapy. I mix listening, empathizing, advising, and humor to create a warm and approachable environment which will quickly help you feel comfortable and safe.
