Your story was that having a child would be cupcakes and unicorns. You constantly daydreamed about how your life would be better after your baby was here. But it didn’t happen that way. You are exhausted, overwhelmed, and find yourself moving from anger to tears to moments of joy in a matter of minutes. You are not showing up for your child or your spouse the way that you really want to. You feel lost at how to communicate what you need because you don’t know yourself. You think that anyone else can do this better than the way you are. You know you can’t keep going this direction.

My sweet sister, I see you. My name is Becki, and I am a counselor for overwhelmed and struggling moms. I believe there is healing in telling our story, and you get to choose how you continue to write yours. We can’t always control what happens to us but we can control the meaning we give the experience and what we do next.
