Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | MS, LMFT, CBHC
I work with a number of different issues and find true joy in helping individuals and families find hope and healing. My passion is working with teenage girls and families around a variety of issues. Life as a teenager is hard and my goal is to help teens and families learn how to navigate each situation in healthy and productive ways. I also love working with women of all ages who want to learn and grow. The issues I work with most often (regardless of client age) are anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship conflict, spiritual questions/struggles, boundaries, and grief.
My practice is named Breaking Free Counseling LLC, and I specifically chose that name because I believe that’s what the Lord what’s to accomplish in our lives – breaking us free from the chains that bind us and learning to walk in joyful freedom with Him! I enjoy helping individuals find freedom in their relationships, mental health, spirituality, and families.
I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013. I moved to Colorado Springs in 2019 with my husband and two huskies. I graduated from Campbellsville University in Kentucky with a Masters of Science in Counseling, and originally obtained licensure in Kentucky and then again in Colorado once I moved. I have worked as a counselor in small practices, a large church, and a community mental health agency, so I have a wide array of experience. It’s my honor to walk alongside each client that the Lord brings along, and I’d be so blessed to be part of your journey as well!
