Terri is known for her approachability and authenticity. She blends humor and empathy with an unwavering commitment to evidence-based practices and scientific principles.
Terri received her Master’s in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, where she learned to integrate rigorous biblical studies with the most recent science on mental health. She received the school’s highest honor, the Presidential Award for Academic Achievement and Contribution to the Seminary. Her studies were focused on marriage and family and advanced issues in child counseling.
Terri’s experience includes helping with child behavioral concerns, ADHD, preparing for marriage, achieving marital harmony, divorce adjustment, anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, and grief, and adjustment disorders. Additionally, as a family pastor she is skilled in spiritual formation and life coaching. She has worked in ministry with children, families, and marriages for 30 years. As a former publisher of Livingston Parent Journal, she developed a passion to help families in our community to be whole and healthy.
