Navigating life can feel overwhelming. Sometimes life kicks us in the gut and it’s hard to catch our breath. Reaching out for help seems like one more thing. It sometimes feels like you are shattered into a billion pieces. I get it, we’ve all been there. I work mostly with teens, having been a troubled and angry depressed teen myself, but I work with women as well. I love mosaics because they are broken pieces that have been fitted together to make something exceptional and beautiful. People have that same ability to take the broken pieces of their lives and create beauty, and without those broken pieces, there would be no mosaic.
I provide a comfortable safe environment as we work through things like overwhelming thoughts and feelings, nightmares, and overreacting. My specialties include working with adolescents using EMDR to help with trauma, no matter how big or how small. I have training and experience as a Christian counselor. I am committed to helping you feel heard, validated, and provide a safe, judgement-free place. I love helping people see themselves for the unique, amazing people they may have forgotten they are.
