My ideal clients are individuals and couples experiencing disappointing marriages–especially those who struggle with emotional connection. I also work with those facing loss of identity, grief/loss, learning to parent adult children, spirituality, shame, changing life purpose, and parenting same-sex attracted and transgender-identified teen/adult children. I believe in nurturing dynamic relationships with God, self, others, and creation–relationships that allow you to be who and what you were created to be.
My approach is casual and comfortable. I focus on the elements and emotions of what you bring to session and the relationships in which there has been harm or misunderstanding. Together we will journey through your stories, past and present, to uncover the pieces that will form a meaningful future.

In addition to holding two graduate degrees: an MS, Marriage and Family Therapy, and an MA, Biblical Studies, I have gained practical experience through 28+ years of marriage, parenting three adult children, cross-cultural living, and a lifetime of creating options and successfully taking calculated risks.
