Hello, my name is Christy! I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working in the field for over 16 years. I received my masters degree at the University of North Florida. I am a Bible-believing Christian, and am a member and involved in my local church. I volunteer with a number of Christian organizations and enjoy going on missions trips. I believe that scripture gives a lot of insight on how to combat some of life’s most difficulties. Through therapy we can navigate some of these principles and techniques that will empower you to cope with any life situation.
In my experience when people are given the right tools or skills it empowers them to cope with any life situation. I believe therapy is the means in which one develops these skills. That is why I use both a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach as well as Person-Centered. I look forward to our time together, guiding you through life’s journey towards a more fulfilled life.
