Parenting is tough. The more stressed parents are, the harder it is for them to do their job effectively. I’m here to help. Through counseling, coaching, training, and mentoring, my goal is to use your strengths and gifts to be the best parent you can be. I’ll partner with you to implement research-based interventions, coaching skills, wisdom, and expertise from years of experience to help you achieve the change you are looking for.
My office space is specifically designed for young children to feel at home, not in a doctor’s office. With a waiting room, playroom, teaching room, and office I have space to meet you and your child’s needs. I offer play therapy, CBT, parenting classes, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I also offer several assessments to give you an accurate picture of what’s going on and how I can help.
I am married to a wonderful godly man! Between us, we have four sons, one daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter. I love to play tennis and spend time with my family and my three dogs. I am active in my church and volunteer at a women’s clinic for unplanned pregnancies.
My passion since I graduated with my Masters in 1991 has been children. It still is. I feel my purpose in life is to strengthen as many families as possible by giving kids great parents.
