Rev. Rebecca McGee

Licensed Professional Counselor | MS, LPC

For years, I have provided both professional and/or pastoral counseling. I have a strong faith in God and I believe that there is hope when the situation seems impossible. You don’t have to be a Christian to benefit from my counseling. I depend on the wisdom I receive from the Lord. I welcome the opportunity to counsel with anyone who is in need. My ideal client is one who is ready to be transparent and to face the challenge of working through whatever problem brought them to counseling. Proverbs 16:24 says: “Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” My desire is to bring healing to those who come to me with their burdens.

I provide counseling for the following issues: marriage and family counseling, anxiety and depression, parenting issues, fear, social anxiety and phobias, anger, abuse, caregiver issues, codependency, communication problems, panic attacks and disorders, family of origin issues, grief, guilt, hoarding, paranoia, perfectionism and obsessive compulsive behavior, rejection, job stress, religious & self-esteem issue, family of Alzheimer’s Disease, aging and geriatric issues, and various other issues. I use an eclectic blend of counseling therapies, including EMDR, depending on my clients’ needs.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and an ordained minister, allowing me to counsel from both a professional & ministerial perspective. My husband and I served as senior church pastors and spent 35 years as missionaries to Mexico. We returned to the U.S. because our hearts were burdened with the needs we saw in our own country. My calling is to reach the hurt, broken, confused, and depressed. There is no greater joy than to walk through a healing process with a broken marriage or to counsel with someone who is weighted down with depression, anxiety, hopelessness or other issues.
