Mrs. Annette Stanley

Licensed Professional Counselor | MA, LPC

I provide remote services only

As a Christian counselor with immediate openings, it would be my honor to join you on your journey to freedom, healing and joy in life. Whether you are struggling with a relationship issue, a mental health diagnosis, or just feel stuck in life, I see my role as a supportive coach who facilitates the work you would like to do. I give my clients individualized attention, and no treatment plan is alike. You are a person of worth and your story matters. Having dealt with a variety of issues, I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I earned a BA in Social Work from Asbury College in 1995 and an MA in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2011. While training and skills are vital to our profession, life experience and empathy is a key component to credibility in the counseling room. The scars I wear are evidence of God’s healing and transforming power in my life. God desires that transformative healing for you as well!

I have specialized training in helping marriages move through crisis and transitions, but also help couples achieve greater satisfaction with communication and managing the inevitable conflict that arises in relationship. Trained in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman methodologies, there is most often a path to healing available. I am also Prepare/Enrich certified. I offer both intensive and traditional models of therapy so that the best outcomes for each situation can be achieved. Making the first call can be difficult, but aren’t you and your relationship worth that call?
