I specialize in gender. This includes men and women who have unwanted same-sex attraction. I help these individuals navigate the many choices surrounding gender identity. This also includes individuals who are uncomfortable with their biological gender. I work with parents who have children that exhibit abnormal gender behaviors. I work with men’s issues and sexual addiction. This includes those who want to be free from sexual addiction including pornography and fetishes. I work with spouses and families of sexual addicts.
What do you want to get out of counseling? What would you like to change in your life? These are the questions I ask each client. My focus is to accomplish your goals or desired outcomes in counseling. I am a facilitator to help you accomplish your goals. You may not know your goal, so I will help you define that. Therefore, any given session will include a verbal exchange or processes that bring you closer to your goal. As a Christian therapist, I offer prayer tools to address spiritual conditions that are blocking the desired changes. I address the spiritual significance of life decisions.
