Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | LMFT
I provide remote services only
As a therapist, I am convinced of two things: Everyone desires to live an emotionally healthy and joyful life; and emotional health is God’s design. It is this conviction that leads me to practice therapy holistically, from a faith-based, Christian perspective. Since we are both spiritual and physical beings, each of these areas must be addressed in order to experience healing that reaches the deepest parts of a person: body, mind and spirit.
In gently joining with the client and experiencing their brokenness and pain, a partnership is born. This supportive relationship is important for healing and is the beginning point of change. As a professional in the caring arts for over 30 years, I understand the importance of creating this partnership.
Professionally, I have been in the healing professions all my adult life. As a former Registered Nurse for over 30 years, I’ve worked with sick and premature newborns in a Newborn Intensive Care Unit, pediatrics, and over a decade treating patients with chronic Hepatitis C. I’ve been privileged to be involved in the physical and psychological aspects of healing inherent in both professions.
I work from a Biblically based, Christian framework and see adults 20 years and older, for a variety of concerns, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, life transitions, life challenges, chronic illness, grief and loss, and spiritual formation.
