Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor | LCPC
Bob is an LCPC whose focus it on revitalizing and strengthening emotional health for individuals, couples, and families. Bob helps clients to recognize that they have the God-given strengths and innate personal resources to create and maintain committed relationships, within their marriages, families, friendships and work environment. His strength-based, goal-oriented, empirically sound approach lays a clear path for clients in the counseling process. Whether it be individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, couples in conflict, or families struggling with establishing healthy boundaries, his optimism opens client’s eyes to a potential future filled with hope. Reconciliation and re-creation of healthy, loving relationships is the primary objective, but in post-divorce cases, healthy communication, boundaries, and new roles will be established to create the best possible environment for the divided family. Bob’s Christian faith creates an emotionally safe environment of acceptance and hope for all, no matter where they are in their faith journey. He believes that through life’s trials, a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life can unfold with God’s loving promises.
Within his Christian faith-based approach to therapy, Bob uses theoretical models including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes in length. In additional to individual, couples and family counseling, he facilitates a couples group called Date Night Done Right. Couples meet for 8 consecutive Friday evenings focusing on emotionally healthy principles to sustain an intimate and fulfilling marital relationship. The couple completes the evening by going on a date.
