Dr. Rhodes is the Founder and President of Love-light, a non-profit Christian Counseling practice in Zion, IL. He is a Pastor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Illinois, North Carolina, and Wisconsin and sees individuals in-person and virtually. He holds two doctorate degrees- a PsyD in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Pastoral Ministries with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling. He is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) and a Clinical Member of the Christian Care Network (CCN) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He has taught at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology and Marquette University. He has over 35 years of pastoral and ministry experience with churches ranging in size from 25 to 1,200. He has served as a training consultant for several high profile Churches and Christian ministry organizations across the country. His pastoral and clinical experience has made him a favored referral source for many pastors in the area for pastor-to-pastor counseling. Dr. Rhodes and his lovely wife, Julie, have been happily married since 1985 & blessed to have a married daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.
Dr. Rhodes is able see individuals and couples virtually via self-pay from any location and via insurance for those individuals in the states of Illinois, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
