I have been a Christian counselor since 1986 and Director of Houston Center for Christian Counseling since 2000. Most of my experience in working with adults and adolescents has been in dealing with a variety of issues including marriage and family struggles, drug and alcohol addiction, sexual addiction, men’s issues, unwanted same sex attraction, depression and with other life struggles. I also work with pastors and those in ministry.
I believe it is important that you know the perspective I take in addressing issues of life and that a relationship with God is of the utmost importance in experiencing all that you are intended for. However, I want you to know that I am sensitive to meeting you where you are in your own spiritual life. I very much enjoy the work I do and I take it very seriously.
Serving the Houston area and the State of Texas since 1981 with clinical excellence, HCCC provides a warm, therapeutic, and inviting atmosphere. We see children (2+), adolescents, and adults. In addition, we offer individual, family, couples, and group counseling. Through integrating our faith and clinical training, we offer biblically sound and psychologically skilled approaches to life’s struggles. Our doors are open to clients from all religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. We provide both in-person and online sessions. We care. We are here to help. If helpful, as Director, I am able to listen to your need and make a referral to one of our therapists in either our Sugar Land or Katy office.
