Karen earned a MA in Christian Counseling from Columbia Evangelical Seminary in 2001 and another MA in Community Counseling form Chadron State in 2008 and has been a fully licensed mental health practitioner since 2012. She is a member of New Life Live, Focus on the Family’s Christian Counselors Network, and the American Christian Counseling Association.

Karen’s specialties include: Abuse and Trauma, TBRI Practitioner – (Trust Based Relational Intervention), PTSD, Counseling for Families Affected by Disability, Christian Counseling, Divorce Recovery, LGBTQ Counseling, Grief and Bereavement, Personality Disorders, Senior Adult Counseling, Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Children, and Adolescents with family and individual.
Karen is also a life, parent, relationship and health coach and is working on her ICF credentialing. The fees for these services are out of pocket only, not covered by health insurance.

Karen offers coaching domestically and internationally. Mental health counseling is only offered in NE due to licensure contracts with the State of NE mental health guidelines. TBRI coaching is offered online now for Parents who are dealing with kids from hard places and or are having attachment disruptions from divorce and remarriage.
