Mrs. Susan Harris

I have been in private practice for over 35 years. My husband and I work together as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. In our marriage of 30 years, we work together in our practice and our own relationship trying to better understand how to grow as a Christian couple and how to help marriages, couples, and families grow to better understand each other. It is a privilege to work with my husband who continues to show me how a Christian husband is to love his wife. His understanding of the Adam and Eve story is the most beautiful, love story and the key to a successful marriage.

I grew up in a large family in the San Joaquin Valley on a ranch and farm. I learned to drive a tractor as a child to help with the almond orchard. In a family of 8 children, I learned about responsibilities, chores, and the importance of God. I moved to Southern California to attend Biola University, to learn to integrate my faith with psychology. I graduated from Biola University as a Marriage & Family Therapist in 1985. I married Mark Harris in 1990 and in 1993 we had our beautiful daughter. I enjoy teaching parenting skills. I think being a parent is the most important job in the world.
