Dr. Andrew Graham

Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Ph.D, LMHC, NCC, BCPCC

I practice as a Cognitive-Behavioral therapist with Psychodynamic underpinnings. What that means is that I believe that our beliefs and thoughts impact our behavior and that much of what we believe and think in the here and now is directly related to experiences from the past. I see individuals (teens and up), couples, and families with relationship concerns or emotional/behavioral distress. I am also available for clinical supervision of those pursuing licensure in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

My current vocational call is primarily directed towards higher education. I teach courses in counseling/psychology at several institutions. However, I do maintain a small private practice. Because of other responsibilities and roles, availability is limited; I make up for that by charging very reasonable rates. I do not accept insurance.

I am credentialed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings – from intensive in-home to community mental health outpatient to church-based to private practice. My undergraduate degree is from Hobe Sound Bible College (Hobe Sound FL). My MA in Professional Counseling is from Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore KY) and my PhD in Professional Counseling is from Liberty University (Lynchburg VA). My wife and I have been married since 1999 and have 8 children.
