Licensed Professional Counselor | LPC
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Kerry has been working with individuals and couples since 2006. She spent 13 years in a church-based counseling ministry and has been in private practice since 2014. Her passion is to provide a safe environment for clients to find true courage and healing through the counseling process. She focuses on helping clients identify the patterns and strategies developed in the past through family relationships and life experiences and how they impact the client’s current life. Her desire is to help others learn to tell their stories wholeheartedly and to celebrate with them as they discover and embrace what God is doing in and through them.
Kerry offers an integrative approach to therapy, specializing in counseling individuals who are experiencing life transitions, issues within relationships, and other life stressors. She also has experience counseling individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, emotional trauma, broken relationships, and codependency. Kerry has received training in trauma, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, and The Gottman Method.
Among other unique counseling experiences, Kerry spent 3 summers counseling women in the mission field with cross-cultural workers at the Breathe conference in Switzerland. While there she not only built a stronger relationship with God, but also renewed a passion for working with woman from different cultural backgrounds.
Kerry is an “army brat” who traveled in Up With People after graduating from high school. She is a mother of two married daughters and enjoys exploring the world anew through the eyes of her five grandchildren.
