Licensed Professional Counselor | MA, LPC

I was born on the Westside of Cincinnati and have lived in this beautiful city most of my life, besides four years in Dayton, two in northern California, and one year overseas. I got my Bachelors in Communication at the University of Cincinnati in 2012 but didn’t know how I wanted to use it. After a few years of exploring the workforce and my faith, I decided to go back to school to become a counselor. I got married in 2017 and started my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University soon after. In 2018, my wife and I embarked on a year-long missions experience through Youth With a Mission, while I continued my studies online. After we returned, I completed my counseling internship, graduated from Liberty, and started working as a counselor.

My wife and I have two amazing children and hope to keep growing our family. I love family, music, and helping people find wholeness. Specifically in counseling, my passions are anxiety/panic, OCD, adolescents, depression, and marriage/family issues. I want to be able to help people restore relationships and function at their best. I also enjoy leading worship and making music of any kind.

My style is calm and non-directive. I believe clients are the best experts at themselves and I do my best to help them unlock that knowledge and experience. I show respect and empathy to every client who sits in front of me, using a nonjudgmental and caring tone. I like using metaphor and imagery to help people see things from a relatable perspective and discover new things about themselves and their situation. I’m also open to using creative expression and new technology for therapeutic benefit. Everyone is unique, so I’ll adapt my approach to best fit the needs of the client. It would be an honor to assist you in your journey of wellness.
